About Love Out Loud
Love Out Loud is a 501(c)(3) backbone organization that mobilizes a more connected community across Winston-Salem and Forsyth County. We provide the relational, coordination, and administrative infrastructure that enables cross-sector collaboration around justice and wellbeing.
Our work spans three focus areas: Bridge Building & Alignment, Mobilization, and Fiscal Sponsorship & Capacity-Building. With an annual operating budget of $584,215 and a network of 500+ multi-sector partner organizations, we serve as essential connective tissue for Forsyth County's community ecosystem.
Position Summary
This critical role strengthens Love Out Loud's capacity to connect people, manage data, and mobilize community assets at scale. Working closely with the Executive Director, you will cultivate and track cross-sector relationships, manage data systems that tell the story of our collective impact, and maintain technology platforms connecting volunteers, nonprofits, faith communities, and business and governmental partners.
The ideal candidate is a self-starter who thrives in a collaborative and adaptive setting, is energized by relational work across diverse communities, and brings the organizational discipline to manage complex data systems alongside the interpersonal warmth to build trust in a broad, multi-sector network.
Core Responsibilities
Partnership & Alignment
- Map, track, and deepen relationships across the LOL and Thriving Together network of faith communities, nonprofits, business partners, and civic leaders
- Manage and continuously maintain data in Salesforce from Monthly Citywide Leaders Meetings, large community convenings, multiple relational meetings, and other community touchpoints
- Attend and represent Love Out Loud at key coalition meetings and convenings as assigned
- Support implementation of the strategic plan, including Partnerships and Convenings; assist with grant reporting and evaluation
- Support Monthly Citywide Leaders Meetings and the annual Community Transformation Luncheon (300+ cross-sector leaders)
Engagement & Mobilization
- Maintain and maximize the BASE volunteer platform (356 agencies, 5,743 registered volunteers, 16,350+ annual visitors) as a front door for volunteer engagement across Forsyth County
- Serve as an informed first point of contact for community inquiries, providing warm hand-offs to partner organizations and other team members
- Coordinate the nonprofit partnerships and experiences for Christmas for the City and other institutional volunteer programs
- Support data collection and tracking for the 28-church One City One Church cohort
Administrative & Organizational Support
- Provide broad operational support to the Executive Director and leadership team
- Manage administrative details for internal projects and grant reporting
- Contribute to content creation for email newsletters, social media, and partner communications
Qualifications
Required
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in nonprofit management, public health, community development, social work, communications, or related field
- 2–4 years of professional experience in community engagement, partnership development, nonprofit operations, or a related role
- Demonstrated experience with CRM/database management (Salesforce preferred)
- Strong relational skills and cultural competency across diverse communities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to translate data into compelling narratives
- Self-directed and highly organized; able to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace
Preferred
- Experience working with faith-based organizations, healthcare systems, and cross-sector coalitions
- Familiarity with social determinants of health, equity frameworks, or collective impact models
- Knowledge of Winston-Salem/Forsyth County's nonprofit and civic landscape
- Experience with program evaluation, survey design, or impact measurement
