Thursday, Nov 16th | 7pm - Venture Cafe at Biotech (575 Patterson Ave)
Hey, did you know….there’s great work happening in the area of homelessness and housing?!
Are you wanting to make an impact? Is there a specific area where you’d like to invest your ideas and energy for the greater good of our community? Once a month, Love Out Loud and HandsOn Northwest North Carolina host a session on social good happening around the greater Forsyth County region. This month, we’ll hear from a panel of leaders focused on housing and homelessness in our community:
Paula Borton, Solus Christus
Mike Campbell, Habitat for Humanity
Andrea Kurtz, United Way
Russ May, City with Dwellings
Derwin Montgomery, Bethesda Center
Other nonprofit leaders will also be on hand. Come find out more about efforts that are bringing non-profit, for-profit, faith-based and community organizations together toward common goals and outcomes focused on some of the most challenging issues of our city.
