Summer always brings a new rhythm of life and, many times, a little more margin to explore new things. This summer, consider serving somewhere new--a place or an area that keeps coming to your mind and heart but for which you may have never made the right connection or been afforded the chance to serve.

Check out the wide range of opportunities below....and dive in and serve somewhere new this summer!

Each summer, there are many terrific school supply drives that support so many families across our city. Yet, often, we struggle to align our efforts so that ALL families and students are able to access this generosity...and to do so in empowering ways.

Love Out Loud is facilitating a community-wide conversation to simply discern how we can strengthen our collective efforts to meet this significant need for which our community feels great passion.

1) Provide small acts of labor for minor home repairs, i.e carpentry, plumbing, electrical, flooring and various type of yard work. Congregational groups, youth groups, business teams, etc. are welcome to give us a call.

2) Help older adults in our community maintain good health and independence by providing them transportation to medical appointments and/or to the grocery store.

3) Bring a smile to an older adult by providing a weekly visit. You might gain a new friend in the process. One hour a week can make a huge different in the life of an older person who has limited social contact and would love some companionship.
