Every Quarter in 2019 we’re going through the first three steps of Pathways:

A presenter will take you through contextual growth: learning more about what poverty looks like, how to set healthy boundaries, the state of education in our community or other pertinent topics.

Have you wanted to volunteer, but been overwhelmed by the number of organizations and opportunities out there? Not know who is doing what? Or need help sorting out the best FIT for you?

Love Out Loud will be walking through BASE – their new volunteering platform designed as a tool to help you find opportunities all over the city & inviting you to PATHWAYS, a free program to walk individuals through personal assessment, community contextual training, engaging with nonprofits, service, and reflection to assist YOU to get involved in volunteer opportunities in your area on passion, with your interests, in line with your schedule!

Where do I go?

This panel will be held at Venture Cafe at Bailey Power Plant, in downtown Winston-Salem. (On Patterson Ave between 4th and 5th) (Or Map Here.) We are generally in the “Power Room” (back left of the main room) - but ask one of the Venture Cafe volunteers if you can’t find us!

 

Do I need to RSVP?

No sign up in necessary, just show up. If you have any questions, please contact lkaiman@loveoutloudws.com

 

How long will it last?

Venture Café is set up to begin at 5pm with an hour for networking and two sessions ( 6pm and 7pm). Our panel will typically be during the 6 pm session, but feel free to come early and check out more about what is going on. Where do I park?

The gates on the lots just north of the BioTech at the intersection of Sixth and Patterson will be open for guest parking. There is also street parking throughout the Innovation Quarter.
