Master's Day Golf

FRIDAY, JUNE 12, 2015, 9AM. Scroll for more...

The 9th Annual Master’s Day Golf Classic will be tee off at 9:00am on Friday, June 12, 2015 at Maple Chase Golf & Country Club and conclude on Friday afternoon with an awards presentation. Participation in this tournament will benefit Camp Hope. Camp Hope gives under-resourced kids in our community the opportunity to attend summer camp. Camp Hope is designed to build self worth, character, and a Christ centered faith in the lives of kids.

The children who attend this camp are victims of abuse and most often live in foster homes. Through this one week, children’s lives can be changed forever by seeing that a positive experience with a loving adult role model is possible, that they can succeed, and experiencing a week of relief from their current situation and experience care, love, and encouragement.

Decadent Dessert Night, Thursday, June 11, 7pm

Whether you golf in the Master's Day Tournament or not, you are invited to join us for an evening for community, dessert and hearing more about Camp Hope and Love Out Loud: 7pm, Thursday, June 11, in the Central Foyer of WinstonSalemFirst.

Tickets for the Dessert Night are $10/person, with 100% of the proceeds going to Camp Hope.

Who are we doing this for?

Camp Hope is a place where a kid can just be a kid. It gives kids in our community an opportunity to have fun and receive much needed attention and love in a safe and loving environment.

At Camp Hope, each child is under constant supervision and given the special attention that they so desperately need. There is a counselor for every four campers and staff members to offer extra support to insure that the kids who attend Camp Hope receive the care that they need. They receive a lot of love, respect, and compassion from positive role models. The fun activities, special events, projects, sports and classes are designed to build self worth, character and a Christ centered faith in the lives of our campers.

This summer at Camp Hope, kids in our community will play, paint, sing, dance, and make new friends. They will come home with music, photos, art, and most importantly happy memories that will last throughout the year.
